PRIVACY POLICY

Siam City Cement (Lanka) Limited (“INSEE”) would like to inform you that INSEE collects, processes, and discloses your personal data provided to INSEE, as morefully set out hereinafter,  when you access , create an account, purchase products and/or obtain services through our  Nawa Niwasa App and/or Web Site (collectively referred to as “Site”) in accordance with the terms and conditions of this privacy policy for customer (the “Policy”). Please carefully read the Policy to understand the details of your personal data processing and related rights.

We collect the following personal data:

INSEE collects your personal data, including but not limited, to the following: (a.) personal information and personal interests e.g. name-surname, National Identity Card number, Passport number; date of birth, photograph, sex, age, education background, biometric data and signature; (b.) contact details e.g. address, email, phone number, Facebook; (c.) financial information e.g. bank account, number of credit/debit card and tax identification number; (d.) business information e.g. office address, occupational information, office phone number and type of business: (e.) personal information and personal interests of your connected and related persons e.g. spouse/partner, children, parents, relatives, employees, representatives and contact persons that you warrant that their consents have been legally provided to you for the objectives of this Policy; (f.) usage of the Platform e.g. user name/account, login record, IP address, URL, web page history, communication history; and (g.) identifiable location.

In addition, we reserve the right to obtain the following data (a) data regarding, purchases, or sales that you provide in a transaction. (b) Content that you share with other users through our tools (c) delivery, billing, and other information you provide in connection with the purchase or delivery of an item.

You may provide us with additional information through a web form or by updating or adding information to your account, by participating in community discussions, inquiries, or if you contact us for any other reason regarding our Site.

Personal data will be collected automatically when you use our Site or create an account.

Other data that we are required or entitled by the applicable law to collect, and process are as follows:

• Data that is generated as part of one of your transactions (purchases, sales) or that is linked to your account as a result of a transaction in which you are involved, such as transaction amounts, time and location of transactions and payment methods.

Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data

INSEE collects, processes and disclose your personal data for the following purposes: (a.) business transactions of INSEE and its group companies; (b.) facilitating the purchasing of products and/or obtaining services; (c.) providing services in connection with the Platform e.g. processing quotation, purchase order/delivery order, payment, issuing financial document, credit assessment, order cancellation, changing and returning of products; (e.) inspection, analysis, innovation, development, improvement, research and management of the Platform, product and service; (f.) performing activities regarding marketing, advertisement, customer relation management, promotion of product and service, claim management, communication e.g. notifying of any special promotion or event and general news; and (g.) INSEE and its group companies’ legal compliance and enforcement. Your consent to the Policy shall be deemed as your express consent for the processing of your personal data for the purposes set in the foregoing provisions hereof and for any other lawful purposes in terms of the prevailing law relating to personal data protection (“Personal Data Protection Law”).

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

INSEE and its group companies disclose your personal data to the following persons for the abovementioned purposes: (a.) companies in INSEE, Siam City Cement Public Company Limited and all of its group companies (“SCCC Group Companies”); (b.) any third party e.g. suppliers/business partners, data processing service providers authorized by SCCC Group Companies, legal advisors, accountants; and (c)any government, regulatory and judicial authority.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our Site. We will only provide those companies with the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. By accessing this Site you expressly agree to the same.

Retention of Your Personal Data

INSEE retains your personal data necessarily for the purposes of the Policy (including any of its future changes) or legal compliance (e.g. tax law) or until you withdraw your consent.  In addition, when your personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes of the Policy, INSEE will erase, destroy or anonymize your personal data except for the purpose of our legal compliance and enforcement.

Social media network data you share with INSEE

You may share personal data when using social media networks to create or link to your account. These social networks may automatically provide us with access to certain personal data they have stored about you (e.g. the content you have viewed or enjoyed, information about the advertisements you have been shown or clicked on, etc.). You can determine the personal data that we can access through the privacy settings of each social media network.

If you give us access to video content pages, your grant of access is your consent that we may, for at least two years, or until you withdraw your consent or are no longer connected to the social media network, share with and collect from social media networks information regarding your viewing of videos.

We may also use plug-ins or other technologies from various social media networks. If you click on a link displayed through a social media network plug-in, you voluntarily connect to that social media network.

INSEE encourages you to review the privacy statements of the Site you choose to link to INSEE so that you can understand how the app collects, uses and shares your information. We are not responsible for the privacy statements or other content outside of the Site.

Your Rights

You have rights to access to, receive the copy of, transfer, correct, object, restrict the processing and request for erasure, destruction or anonymization of, your personal data, and your rights under Personal Data Protection Law  Additionally, you have a right to withdraw your consent at any time except that there is any restriction of consent withdrawal under the applicable law or contract, and the withdrawal of your consent will prohibit you from being entitled to receive any privileges and benefits related to products and services from INSEE.

Security of Your Personal Information

INSEE is committed to protect the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Changes to the Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time without notice to you. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our Site
